Green Team Goes Wild and Scenic this Weekend at High School

Riley Grim and Shayla Lund represent the next generation of Extraordinary Jane’s, working together to enhance the planet. Inspired by Mayor Reinette Senum’s address to Nevada Union High School Students these Go Green Commissioners implemented a green education campaign at their school.

In order to raise funds to green their campus and support their campaign, Riley and Shayla partnered with SYRCL to host the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival at their school this weekend. They’ll be showing the best of the best from the 2009 festival at the Don Baggett Theater at Nevada Union High School this Saturday, Nov. 21st from 7-10 PM. Tickets are for sale at the door. Admission is $10.
