In less than a week concerned policy makers and citizens of the world will participate in the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. We’re hoping some Extraordinary Jane’s will speak out and participate in this historic event to enhance our planet.
One everyday extraordinary woman has made quite the impact when it comes to utilizing our “green” purchase power, author Diane MacEachern. You might remember Diane in the See Jane Do episode, The Power of the Purse. Diane hopes to bring her Big Green Purse to Copenhagen and you can help!
She is a finalist in the Huffington Post contest to become their citizen ambassador to the climate change talks in Copenhagen and she needs your votes to win. HuffPost is partnering with Hopenhagen.org to send one person to Copenhagen to the UN Climate Change Conference to participate as a citizen journalist and represent the concerns of people worldwide.
What better voice than that of a woman who has taken action around this issue by walking the talk. Diane is an eco-mom at heart , the author of the best selling book, Big Green Purse, and an active blogger on the Green Moms Carnival. She wants to go to Copenhagen to focus attention on the impacts climate change has on people, especially our health.
